Bella Thorne in Bathing Suit Says "This is Ariel Now" Celebwell

Bella Thorne is enjoying the sea and sunshine in Cancun, Mexico. The 24-year-old actress posted a series of pictures of herself wearing a bright bedazzled bikini, with the tongue-in-cheek-caption, "This is Ariel now, feel old yet?" How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Thorne stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

Thorne attends regular Pilates reformer sessions. "Both the equipment and the exercises can be modified and adjusted to any body, which makes it perfect for those looking to tone up, rehab from an injury, train for a particular hobby or sport, or for those looking for low impact, full-body workout," says Tianna Strateman, Vice President of Training and Experience for Club Pilates.

Thorne is not vegan, because she finds bacon too hard to resist (understandable!). She eats plenty of vegan food though, thanks to her sister's diet. "I'm not, I'm so sorry guys," she says. "I really want to be though. My sister's a vegan so we eat a lot of vegan food but man, bacon. Oh, gets me every time."

Thorne stopped weighing herself after realizing it was doing more harm than good. "Almost every day I have been to the gym in the last six weeks," she says. "Turns out I only lost one pound of fat and gained one pound of muscle. Throw away your scales ladies because they don't mean s**t. As long as YOU feel better and u like the way u look that's all that matters."

Thorne loves to indulge in a bowl of spaghetti every now and then. "Whole wheat pasta is a better option, thanks to its higher fiber content – this will help to fill you up, support digestive health…" says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. "That said if you prefer white pasta, fresh pasta, which has a higher protein content, has less of an impact on blood sugar levels than the equivalent portion of another popular carb, white rice. Whole grain pasta is lower in calories and contributes more vitamins and minerals than the white, refined equivalent, making it a healthier choice."

Thorne prefers strength training to cardio. "My brother is my trainer. He's getting into the UFC, and he does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts," she says. "He's got me doing circuit training and weight lifting—I never do cardio. A lot of people think that cardio burns off weight better than weight lifting does…but weight lifting works your muscles, getting them toned while losing fat."
