Tim Tebow stopped by the 105th Precinct in Queens on Tuesday — the station where NYPD Officer Brian Moore worked before he was killed last year — to show his appreciation for New York’s Finest.

“It’s very meaningful to be able to give back, but honestly [I’m here to ] just to say thank you and try to encourage all of them that what they do really matters,” Tebow explained during a meeting with police officers and officials.

“It matters to me, and they’re making a difference. What they’re doing is significant,” he said. “Sometimes it can be a thankless job. We just wanted to take this time to say thank you.”

The New York Mets prospect and former football sensation is in town promoting his memoir, “Shaken,” and ultimately decided to pay his respects to the boys in blue instead of making more media rounds, according to ESPN.

“It’s great to be able to come in here and try to encourage them,” Tebow said. “But, at the same time, they’re such an encouragement to me with just what they do every single day.”

Moore, 25, was shot and killed on May 4, 2015 as he sat in his patrol car with his partner.

The cops at his old precinct told ESPN on Tuesday that it meant a lot to them to see Tebow show his support for law enforcement.

“It’s really nice to see people come down that really appreciate us, that care about what we do every day,” said NYPD Lt. Robert Maguire. “There’s a lot of support in New York. With Tim Tebow coming down and the Mets coming down…it gives us a good feeling.”

The former Heisman Trophy winner made headlines in September when he signed a minor league contract with the Mets and then blasted a home run in his first at-bat.

He went on to have a disappointing season, though, in the Arizona Fall League — posting a batting average of .194 and striking out 20 times.
